My latest Zeiss lens arrived, 35mm multi-coated goodness. Finally found converters so the Canon (EF mount) lenses can come here to the M42 screw mount & vice versa. I’m only on frame 19 which is great - been using my SMC (SUPER Multi Coated LOL) Asahi (Pentax) #Takumar 55mm lens so far this roll, which is radioactive, thank you very much.

An old SLR camera, with a strap and leather camera case, but open. It’s a Pentax Spotmatic, but with a Zeiss lens (35mm focal length). The strap is orange and burgundy patterned. A lens cap is seen on the grey background.

I chose the Pentax #Spotmatic for its M42 mount (Zeiss made lenses for it) & the fact that so many made lenses for it. Plus it works at all shutter speeds w/o a battery, you only need one for the *TTL* light meter (new *thru the lens* capability). Asahi/ Pentax sold 4 million of these, more than Canon & Nikon combined (drops mic -- you should never drop a mic). The actual Roman Baths in #BathUK. This body of water is feed by an underground spring which flows through volcanic rock. The water is as warm as your bath/shower at home all year round.

I shot this in #StowOnTheWold and there's a pretty cool story surrounding it.

This old church has two trees framing the door which have now grown to be a part of the structure. It's said that #Tolkien, who lived nearby, would visit this village and used these doors as inspiration for Durin's Door. The secret door in to #Moria from #LordOfTheRings ... "Speak friend, and enter"
