Ich war heute zum ersten Mal #StandUpPaddling. Das war richtig schön auf dem #Schlachtensee. Danach ne Runde schwimmen und anschließend Pommes. Richtig guter Sommertag!

Drei SUPs liegen an der Anlegestelle. Im Hintergrund sieht man den Schlachtensee und Bäume.

Exceptional hotness continues, several weeks of it already. Fortunately they’re forecasting rain on Sunday. Originally it was supposed to already start on Saturday. I prefer a milder climate, that’s why I live in 65° north, ffs.

Already dreaming of sleet raining against my face and ground covered with snow.

Did a short 2k run and some SUPping when vacationing in the Rokua National park with my kids’ families. And more SUPping when returning home, some cycling too. Run a 5k today at 27°C spending half of the water on my head. Run went well, considering the feet.

Yesterday we met Paavo, a kind and heat exhausted dog on the run. After cooling him down and ringing some doorbells we managed to return him to his home.

I started running, but when I reached the beach and saw how flat the sea was, I turned back home to get my board, and went paddling instead.

I saw the sun rise out of the sea from upon my board. ☺️🌅🏄‍♂️

This weekend I was in Eckernförde for a SUP-competition.

In both races I paddled on the 2nd place.

I had a lot of fun but unfortunately the weather wasn't in our favor. It rained a lot and the overall conditions weren't good either. But in the end it was a great weekend. Even with all the rain.
