I have taken so many photos of #flowers recently that I can't wait for a #FlowerFriday every week. Here is a #borage #plant that popped up in my garden. It's small and easily overlooked, but if you look closer, it's very interesting and so unique.

Starflower (Lysimachia borealis) is the namesake of my photography work and my favorite spring wildflower. Masses of this plant often light up the understory of the forest.

This species was formerly in the Genus Trientalis.
It is pollinated by bees and flies but produces only pollen, no nectar.

Went #Hiking in #RedwoodRegional this morning with one of my friends. We got a little bit of rain, but not much.

Took #GrahamTrail to #WestRidge to #Madrone and then down #Starflower to #TresSendes back to #WestRidge and #GrahamTrail.

The #StreamTrail and #TresSendes intersection has a new bridge!

That particular log has been there for years, and it's really cool to see how they've integrated a bridge into it!

Buzzing around spring flowers. - Got inked! - Birds and bird nests with eggs! - Did two sketches of eggs in a nest, and was compelled to give them snuggly faces. Drew three Saskatchewan birds I see around the park by my home: the Lesser Yellow Legs, Chickadee, and Red-Winged Black Bird.
