Rita #SteamNextFest verdict: This combination of word game and platformer is every bit as charming and polished as the trailer led me to expect. It's unlikely to be brutally challenging - if anything it tries to be quite chill - but it does try to make the player think here and there.
The Myth of a Godslayer #SteamNextFest verdict: This game is way less jank than I expected - just enough to be charming. My biggest concern is that some of the puzzle elements might overstay their welcome and go overboard.
Beat of Rebellion #SteamNextFest verdict: I want to like this, I like some of its ideas, it's definitely nowhere near the worst rhythm game demo I've played... but it feels extremely unrefined in multiple respects, one of the most obvious of which is the English translation.

I've had my eye on one particularly chill-looking #SteamNextFest demo, and tomorrow's my day off under my current arrangement, so I'm squeezing this one in tonight.
GluMe is a challenging Sokoban-ish puzzle game where you try to get the gems as slimes that get stuck together when they touch. Great puzzle design, and the special mechanics and hazards create wonderful diversity across levels.
