I wanna see all those #stereoscopy photos bur we cross our eyes so they're backwards for us, hehe! (Crosseye stereo needs them flipped around backward.)

Tried some #3d #stereoscopy / #stereography from a plane today.
The top image was created from two shots out the window a few seconds apart. Would have been more interesting of there had been dramatic mountains, but there was just cloud cover, and you work with what you got.
In the second image I was trying to get a 3d effect of the wing. I leaned between two adjacent windows.

Two sculptures of Bob Moore, of Bob's Red Mill store and restaurant, Milwaukie, Oregon, 2025

Bob had the very good grace to make his company employee-owned before his passing, and I have a lot of respect for the guy.

I used to see Bob when I went here for breakfast years ago, and I can attest both of these sculptures are good likenesses. I suspect they may be two castings of the same sculpt; the one indoors is painted to look more as he did in life.

I could always tell when Bob was in the house; one of his antique cars would be parked in his reserved parking spot near the front door.

The cloakroom/divider in the entryway of the Mt. Angel Abbey #library. The blonde wood slats and undulating form are typical of Finnish architect Alvar #Aalto. This divider stands in front of the restrooms.

Stereoscopic, side-by-side view. Looking at the outside of a divider in the lobby of the Mt. Angel Library. It is made of thin, vertical blonde wood slats, about one inch thick, separated by similar-sized gaps. It has an undulating shape, curving towards the wall at the ends. (We are looking at the convex side.) It is just tall enough to hide the restroom doors behind it, and is elevated a couple inches above the floor. There is a modern (well, late 20th century, anyway) painting of the crucifixion along one flat part.Stereoscopic, side-by-side view. Looking at the inside of a divider in the lobby of the Mt. #Taxidermy exhibits at the Mt. Angel Abbey Museum. This exhibit has a relatively shallow, glassed-off, U-shaped room along three walls. On the other side of the glass is a LOT of taxidermy, mostly mammals from the Western United States. Because of the quantity of specimens, there is little rhyme or reason to the display; it's pretty chaotic.
