How do I find anything on this site? I really hope the keyword search feature is improved upon #stillbetterthantwitter

I still dont get the whole "Instances" thing. What're the differences between mastodon.social, mastodon.art, and the fediverse? Speak to me as though Im your 78yr old Mimaw, you love me but know I need help sometimes.
