Look carefully — there are several large koi / carp / goldfish soaking up the sun's rays at the lower left in the lake. Also two logs — one towards the upper left in the lake, the other closer to the near shore — covered with turtles (there were more but they jumped off and submerged as soon as I stopped to take the photo). #Almost Spring.

Spring is creeping up on us — I have an old analog timer on a lamp near the front door, and it's finally turning on too early — while it's still light outside. I noticed that when I returned from walking the dogs just a little while ago. Also noticed the first crocuses up along with snowdrops in the garden.

I have a "home security" camera pointed at my feeders that alerts me when the squirrels are there (so I can give them more food and say hi). An added bonus is getting to review the motion capture video to see who visits while I'm sleeping. Last night, it was the Trash Twins for the first time since autumn.
