phone discussion about some of those topics, as well as discussing info specific to his citations: I advised them about "stop as yield" / "safety stop" laws that exist in some states, and I emphasized that California does not yet have such a law, so a full stop is still what's legally required. I also advised them about some two-wheeled transportation commonly misperceived
as a legal e-bike when it is not, such as his pocket bike. I directed and his mom to Bicycling Monterey's related post, "Consumer Advisory: Is it an e-bike—or something else?” linked from Bicycling Monterey's web page of "Resources on Riding Skills, Bike Laws, and Safety."

When the weather is as nice as it is now, there’s nowhere like West Cork. Rolling hills and beautiful countryside, trees heavy with leaves and flowers in bloom, friendly people, and loads of things to do.

One way is Bantry, Ballydehob is the other way. We were headed to Ballydehob when I stopped for a few quick photos.
