This is little Belka. We met in May 2024, when she was still tiny. We bonded right away. Belka loved being petted — she would instantly flop onto the ground and show her belly. She’s Musya’s daughter.

Nocka didn’t settle in, no matter how much I tried. In the end I had to take her to a shelter. A good one, paid, clean… but still a cage. I don’t want to leave her there, it hurts to think of it. But right now I just can’t give her the kind of real cat happiness she deserves. For now she’s safe — and I hope someone will love her the way she needs.

When the weather turned cold, I finally decided to bring Nochka home. She refused to stay in the basement, and I wouldn’t have been allowed to keep her there anyway.
