Gotta love it when someone reports something as a bug, but then developer of said thing turns around and goes "This is not an exploit, it's working as intended" despite the fact this IS an exploitable bug, it's like low-level privileged escalation through chat bot commands, being able to execute commands they don't otherwise have permission to use as a normal user, by exploiting the fact the chat bot IS moderator of a chat and a normal user is able to execute just about any moderator level chat command.

I moved from #StreamElements to #Firebot now. That is, simple commands (like !rainbow and !pride), as well as events (follow and raid) that required some custom HTML. The only thing I didn't know how to do was get the feed for recent events working, but I can (go) live without that.

I made a roll the dice command for twitch in streamelements. The command is

You rolled ${1} dice with ${2} sides. The total is $(math "sum(randomInt([1, ${1} ], 1, ${2} + 1))")

and it is used as following:

!rollthedice 2 6

That gets a reply like You rolled 2 dice with 6 sides. The total is 5

EDIT: This used to have an off by one error. The + 1 in the math expression is necessary. It was pick a random integer number between 1 (inclusive) and ${2} (exclusive).

I’m also just surprised some version of this doesn’t exist as a service provided by #Streamlabs or #Streamelements. I think data like this would be interesting for long-term viewers that could just view their metrics live via chat command or via an external site (another project I’ve been thinking about).
