This empty street is in the middle of Taipei. I caught a quiet moment in the early morning, I think those nicely pointed buildings in the back caught my eye too. #taiwan #taipei #streetphotography #streetpics #ingress #臺灣 #台北 #街頭攝影 #街拍
Street scene in Taipei. The usual sidewalk-less narrow side street stretching a few blocks to the back. Two blocks back, four tower like structures with ornamental, European style roofs peek out into the sky, a contrast to the bleak architectural style of the other buildings. Traffic lights that seem to signal to no one in particular. The street itself has two lanes plus parking with neatly parked cars. Painted lanes, parking booths and no stop-zones and many pedestrian crossings. Very little moving traffic, a few scooters, almost an eerily quiet atmosphere. The buildings left and right are moderate high rises, about 13 or 14 storeys, some decorated with ads for local shops and businesses. Bushes and other green from balconies grow the railings and roof terraces. The sky is pale blue, sunlight hits the upper parts of nearby structures as it seems to be early morning.
