Hi, I'm Cey. I'm trans️‍🏳️‍⚧️ and stuck in a very controlling and abusive household. I recently got accepted into my dream college (NIU), and this might be my only good shot at moving out and building a better life for myself and my support dog. College fees are more than I had anticipated, and I've spent all of my savings just on solidifying my spot in the school. I'm struggling a lot to get financial aid (my parents refused to fill out the FAFSA, because they don't want me to leave). I'm doing everything in my power to make this work out, but I can't afford the fees, let alone tuition, housing, and basic necessities. I'll need to leave for school on July 30th, if everything works out. I'm doing everything I can to try to get a job and save up before I have to leave, but I haven't been able to land a position yet. Due to my situation and environment, I'm at a very high risk of becoming homeless. I'm also in southern USA, which is very hostile for trans people. Being able to go to a safe state, have a safe place to sleep, be able to further my education, and make my dreams of a better life come true would be incredible. Anything at all helps immensely, and I will be eternally grateful! Just sharing helps! Thank you so much for your time and for helping me get to safety!

update: just got an email from the school, I got a partial scholarship for my academic abilities!! that's so cool I'm so excited!! that will be really helpful! in light of that and also having applied to as many jobs as I can, I've lowered the goal a lot. Now it's for just enough to cover transport and the final fees, since I can use the scholarship for books, and part of tuition and housing. I'm hoping I'll hear back from one of the applications soon and be able to get a job. The sooner the better, I need to save up as much as I can, and hopefully I'll be able to transfer to a location near school so I'll already have a stable job in place. Thank you all for helping!!

It's simple, but there's so much going on. got back into elden ring. i beat the fire giant. that boss is like 75% running up to the dude to attack so it wasnt enjoyable. plus the targets are either his left ankle or chest eye which melee can't reach. now im struggling through the consecrated snowfields.

Some days I feel like I actually do ok at the whole parenting/adulting/existing thing. Some days, I jump on the struggle bus and we ride it. Then some days (like today) the struggle bus has been outside my house honking at me to hurry up for 20 minutes. Its fine. It's all fine. Everything is fine.

Well, hello taper!
I spent a lot of time on the #StruggleBus this weekend. So much negotiating ("another 500m of elevation and you can message the crew" or "see how you feel in three kilometres"). Saturday was my altitude day, 75 laps of the sledding hill. So glad I am done with the sledding hill for the season!! Sunday more distance, laps of the research farm. These grapes were ripening on the fence encircling the farm. 70% of race day kilometres and climbing over the weekend. The legs are good to go! While I am grateful for the mental and emotional preparation that laps provide, I'm looking forward to racing across actual mountains and not doing laps like a hamster on a wheel!

I just realized that the reason I have been floundering for over a year to get off my ass and start streaming with one of my vtubing models is because of my PDA. Pathological demand avoidance.
I’ve set all these expectations for myself, and if you look into the PDA profile for autism, it will clearly illustrate how I’m just working against my best interests. Or any interest at all.
and looking back, it has been a lifetime of a struggling with PDA.
