Mit atelier/værksted 😍 nu er det ved at være landet et godt sted.

Som altid, er mine værksteder rum i evig forandring, men nu er det i hvert fald ved at være på et stadie, hvor tingene har en plads der giver mening, og ikke bare den plads der lige var ledig, da flyttekasserne blev tømt.

Jeg elsker at være her. Jeg sidder tit i lænestolen og kigger ud, mens jeg lader tankerne flyde.

For tiden sidder jeg også ganske mange timer foran lærredet. Det fungerer bedre end noget andet arbejdsrum jeg nogensinde har haft.

This week I got back into my studio after a two week break.

Against the wall is left a crate with art supplies and old rags. And there are canvases standing on the floor leaning against the wall. On the canvases are paint and pencil marks.

I wanted to give this place a little shout out, as I really admire what they do: Second Shift Studio Space of St. Paul, Minnesota. They are a non-profit residency program and art space that specifically "works to serve women, gender-nonconforming individuals, and others who are marginalized as a result of their gender identity."

Tidy image of my office/studio. It very rarely looks like this. I have way more books than I have shelves for, so they are stacked all around. And when I'm working, well, just about everything gets covered in paper.
