1. Blending loose leaf tea together. I appreciate this ritual because it feels medicinal and caring.

2. A good morning text from a dear friend.

3. Learning the difference between being suicidal and having suicidal ideation. Because it's important to know the difference so that I can be there for myself and others. We all deserve to know this, so that we can better support ourselves and others.

Once we lose this hotel (which is now over two weeks past due) we are at the mercy of and other - no one bats an eye

This isn't new, this isn't because of this is because of hundreds of years of people folding to a lie of and capitalistic fear mongering as we all scramble to hoard every last resource to the detriment of all the fauna and flora on this earth

Fuck and all those "awareness" schemes

So when I still had the resource of housing and platform for my voice, music and creation I lent those resources long before my understanding of bloomed to an org and a group of streamers ready to wank to their saviorism content with a called for so called and it brought me haphazardly to the beauty of the and its wonder

By jesus himself, I'm namig names - I ask my ancestors to protect me

🌅I watched the sunrise at my nephew Gabriel’s resting place today. It was a beautiful time to reflect on the love, laughter, and light he brought into our lives.

💟Gabriel was born on January 31, 1992, and died by suicide on May 6, 2021. Gone too soon. I carry his light forward, striving to uplift others as he once did.

➡️ Let’s work to break the stigma surrounding mental illness and encourage seeking help.

Sadly, we don’t always know the depths of someone’s depression until it is too late. 😥 May I please have just 1 follower to copy and re-post? I am trying to demonstrate that someone is always listening. #SuicideAwareness 💙♥️ #mentalhealth #MentalHealthAwareness #SuicidePrevention #SuicideAwareness ❤️

A few years ago...I came across a PDF of Dr. Paul Quinnett's The Forever Decision. Thinking it might go into actual methods of suicide I started to read it, and I think I only got about two pages in before I was crying too much to actually see the words.

I downloaded the PDF to my hard drive and I open it again whenever I'm feeling too suicidal to do much else, but not enough to start booking a ride to the hospital. And every time without fail I only go up to a few pages before backing off and choosing to live another day just because suicide suddenly seems even more unbearable than whatever the hell upset me in the first place.

All the book really does is..."discusses the social aspects of suicide, the right to die, anger, loneliness, depression, stress, hopelessness, drug and alcohol abuse, the consequences of a suicide attempt, and how to get help."

But it also starts with the author kindly asking the reader to complete the book before going through with anything, and for some reason I'm compelled to really just try to read it all before finalizing everything. Despite not yet completing it (hopefully never will) I think I can safely say it's saved my life at least a few times now.

It's intentionally legal to copy and redistribute this book to keep it as accessible as possible, and it's very easy to find, but here's a link for it anyways.
