This was 2020, when my Boxer Micky had been gone a few months. Sitting out there without him, despite there being other dogs around, made me pretty sad and moody. Just a cell phone photo but I liked it.

A heavily wooded area on a foggy August morning, with the sun streaming through an opening in the mixed hardwood's green, leafy trees. There are still last falls leaves on the ground. In the background there are a few slanted trees and one slender tree that has fallen over.
