an old windmill, without the sails, wooden and greyish in color, but sturdy and restored, stands in a well-cared for meadow, with a treeline in the background. the sky is cloudy, with bits of blue there and here.an old Lithuanian village house, greyish planks that meant to keep the house warmer in winter times, red shutters with heart ornaments in each, and white window panes. The roof is red clay tiles. in front of the house there's a garden full of blooming flowers in very many varieties, colors, with a little sparse wooden fence guarding it from larger animals, as was tradition.a slightly arched stone and red brick bridge over a small river, connecting one end of the meadow to another, as pathway visible winds farther up, trees on either side of the picture, framing the road on one side, and the river on both sides. water is not visible.

Imagínate que en la escuela se metieran contigo por llevar gafas y ahora sea el ACCESORIO de la temporada (aunque no tengas dioptrías) según las pasarelas.
De locos.

Virtual seedbeds with little flowers

My three dimensional scene based on seedbeds and little flowers. Little sun is shining bright. And this means it is time to little flowers. Time is here. They all are moving to the garden. And all summer long they will be there. Most different colors. And this is so beautiful for the eyes.

#ClimateChange Comes for #Baseball
The problem, of course, is the weather. Of America’s four major professional sports, baseball is uniquely vulnerable to climate change in that it is typically played outside, often during the day, for a long, unrelenting #summerseason: six games a week per team, from March to October, which incidentally is when the Northern Hemisphere gets steamy and unpredictable, more so every year.

When his father remarries, Yuta Asamura winds up sharing a roof with his new stepsister, Saki Ayase, the hottest girl in his grade. Carrying the scars of their parents’ troubled divorces, they vow to maintain a respectful distance. But what starts as cautious camaraderie blossoms into something deeper from shared experiences. Is it admiration, familial love, or something more?

Anime-Planet

A very mature sibling dynamic:

Whoa, just on the first episode, I’m instantly drawn in to the drama between Yuta and Saki, holy heck, you’ll have a hard time cutting a steak with that knife, the tension between those two is that thick!, sure I can understand that the two are apprehensive around each other for now. As the two lines uttered by both characters in the very first scene, is literally mirroring each other. Which I find interesting.

Romances shows like this, are dime a dozen. What I found one aspect of episode 1 drawing me in, is just how mature Yuta and Saki are. I wasn’t expecting that, usually it’s a teenager with a gremlin sibling. Clash of personality traits right off the bat. Not with Yuta and Saki. They took to their situation with maturity.

Just a quick off tangent – I’m a little bit mystified with myself – see I actually had this pegged down a few months ago, during early Spring season, yet only got around to it now, where it’s actually coming to an end (as of this writing it will be on episode 10 in a few days’ time).

Saki and Yuta are literally mirrors of each other. I think that’s what makes their dynamic so interesting, they have a lot of dialogue between each other, despite agreeing that they will keep relative distance between themselves in school. When they are at home, I can’t help but just be drawn in to their conversation, it feels organic between the two. The way they talk to each other, doesn’t feel like they are strangers or step siblings at all – actual siblings or at best really close friends.

Yuta, the kind considerate step bro – who’s a bro

There are hints of the two sharing similar home lives. Like having to look after themselves, whilst their parent went out to work, thus creating this really lonely home life. Yuta being the more considerate one, whilst Saki is the more pragmatic one, like how ladies are seen in society. In a way Yuta acts as a foil to her.

Saki, who can be sassy when she wants to, good head on her shoulder

Would I continue watching?

Yeah, see how this sibling dynamic goes

The era when the great race of the five tribes competing for hegemony on the ground ended with the victory of mankind led by the hero Sid. However, that world was suddenly “overwritten” in front of a boy named Kai. In the rewritten world, Kai saw the scene where humans lost the five tribal wars because of the absence of the hero Sid.

Anime-Planet

I’m 4 episodes into Naze Boku no Sekai. I have to say, this show offers a very unique twist on the whole other world, reincarnation jazz. What this does, isn’t reincarnate the main character Kai, instead it reincarnates the entire world. It adds this mystery as to why the whole world was rewritten. I’m very curious myself in to finding out more.

I do love the world building. It stretches from the humans to four other races: celestials (angels), spirits, demons, and beasts. Each one having a powerful hero leading the charge. The other world building is this “Sid” character. Who is he, and why does he such importance on the world at large. Things like that, have me interested and invested.

There is a mystery that is connecting Kai and Sid. I have a hunch to the connection.

Kai, is our plucky, or rather unlucky plucky character. Can’t say I find him standing out amongst other generic isekai male characters. Sword wielder, check. Has a love interest, check. High school or slightly older, check. Gets thrown in to another world, check. As mentioned above, the most unique thing about him is that he doesn’t get reincarnated. In this case, he isn’t rewritten either. Rather, the entire world does. What makes it interesting is he passes on his knowledge from his former world.

Kai, the solider who has his former world rewritten

Rinne, is a hybrid of all the races. Kai finds Rinne chained up. She accompanies him on his quest to save humanity. They also seek to find out why the world was rewritten. Other than being extraordinary powerful and being cute. She is pretty much a mystery. With little development.

Rinne, the mysterious girl Kai releases from being chained up

Would I continue watching?

Yeah, I’ll keep watching
