Ended the weekend and started the week with Moving by Blue Lake, self-released in 2020.
Jason Dungan aka Blue Lake wrote on Bandcamp:
"The LP was recorded in two spaces during winter and summer 2019 - a basement studio in Copenhagen and some indoor and outdoor spaces in the Swedish forest.
During this period I had been building some multi-stringed instruments, loosely modelled on the zither, but incorporating elements of the banjo and the guitar. These instruments were a focus to the new recordings, as was the cello, which I had started playing again after giving it up as a teenager.
..The music in both spaces was tuned in to the immediate surroundings of the studios - in Copenhagen, I could look out the window and see life out on the street; in Sweden, there were wood-burning stoves, birds, and the peculiar acoustics of the barn..."
