I'm really impressed by Ironfox browser. It has builtin ublock origin with optimised settings, fingerprinting protection and a great selection of private search engines like mojeek, swisscows, mullvad leta, and duckduckgo html.

It's just been upgraded to version 137. 🎉

Fürs Erste habe ich #swisscows aktiviert, weil ich die bereits in der Liste hatte und ja auch gelegentlich nutze. Ich werde der Thematik aber nun etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit schenken.

Working through other google alternatives the results are sadly pretty similar to those above when it comes to providing quality information on #intersex (i.e. info by actually intersex people). Sadly, the pathologizing stuff is generally prioritized.

Thus far the best I've found is #SwissCows. While they rank ISNA over InterACT, their ratio of medical articles to content about intersex experience/rights is the best so far. They have reports from the Center for American Progress and the UN on intersex rights.

If anybody knows of any search engines that do better than this please let me know! 💜

SwissCows' first page of search results for "intersex". The wikipedia article is first, followed by ISNA, then some videos by intersex advocates. WebMD comes next (sigh), then the LGBTQ centre (a glossary that is short on info), and finally InterACT. Then some health websites. Then reports on intersex rights from a think tank and the UN.

Pues nada, que se cae #Bing y ya nos quedamos sin buscadores. Porque por mucho cacarear que además de Bing usan sus propias arañas y tal y cual, ni #DuckDuckGo, Ni #Qwant, ni #Ecosia, ni #SwissCows, funcionan.

Nos queda #Google (para quien lo quiera) y #StartPage. Por otro lado, queda #Mojeeks, #Brave, y #Yahoo (que tenia entendido que tambien se había pasado al motor de Bing, pero no).

This blogpost is written by the CEO of Swisscows, the article critizes Signal for different reasons which aren't entirely wrong, but the conclusion are, without any evidence which back them. The article's intention seems to promote their own Messenger called "Teleguard". which is mentioned at the end of this article as a great private alternative to the "bad" @signalapp.

@svmetasearch a good search engine, think it is better than personal data stealing #google or privacy focused but google infilterated #duckduckgo, #startpage #qwant etc
But I am concerned about their #privacy & #ads. So most of the time just use the true privacy enforcers like #mojeek #gibiru #brave & co, #swisscows never works
