@Rasp What really struck me this episode was the suggestion that Pomni is in the Circus as a direct result of exploring abandoned buildings.

From episode 1, the general belief was that the cast were all employees of C&A before going into the Circus: Pomni had that reaction because she recognized her own desk, Kinger is obsessed with insects because he was a beta tester looking for bugs. But no one mentioned anything even close to that in their backstories this episode.

In E01, Pomni saw the computer turned off and clearly old/dirty, one might even can abandoned. But at the end, we zoomed out to a clean computer running the circus—not abandoned. Both times, a headset lying next to it on the desk. But that was also a beige CRT, completely anachronistic to them knowing about Breaking Bad or YouTube. And if C&A is abandoned, then who's keeping the power on? And it doesn't seem like it's been *that* long since the person before Pomni joined.
