macOS 26 Tahoeの正規化形式(NFD/NFC)の不具合により、日本語を含む非ASCII/非ラテン文字環境でNASに接続されたTime Machineボリュームにバックアップが行えない不具合はmacOS 26.2でも修正されていないので注意を。

A couple of days ago I saw #Tahoe's Preview.app while a friend was skimming one of my specs.

What have they done with Preview.app? It's horrible. Unusable. Every day I'm glad I haven't "upgraded".

Man, everything I've read about Apple's latest dark patterns trying to trick people into migrating to macOS Tosser are true. I just got the notification now and sure enough, even when I select 15.7.3 and click for info it pre-selects 26.2. Tim Crook can't retire soon enough.

Merde j'ai mis à jour sur 26.2 et maintenant 16.4 n'est plus compatible -_-.
Je me retrouve obligé à passer sur Xcode 26.

Shit I updated on 26.2 and now 16.4 is no longer compatible -_-. I find myself forced to switch to Xcode 26.

Es ist wirklich wired, aber ich kann bei meinem Miniplayer von unter das Cover nicht mehr einblenden. Der entsprechende Befehl im Menü des Miniplayers ist verschwunden. Im Internet bin ich nicht fündig geworden, wie man das beheben kann. Hat jemand von Euch eine Idee?

Ja, ja, ihr mögt alle #LiquidGlass nicht und das mit den unterschiedlichen Radien von Fenster-„Ecken” ist auch wirklich ein Drama. Viel zu wenig Drama gemacht wird meines Erachtens allerdings um das wirkliche Verbrechen, das #Apple mit #macOS26 #Tahoe begangenen und auch mit 26.2 nicht repariert hat:

Noch immer sind die Steuerungselemente in der Musik-App *unten*, wobei vollkommen klar ist, dass die nach *oben* gehören!

<p>Apple has just released the update to bring macOS Tahoe to version 26.2, and security updates to Sequoia and Sonoma to bring them to 15.7.3 and 14.8.3 respectively. The latter two should also have associated Safari updates.</p> <p>The update to 26.2 is about 3.78 GB to download to an Apple silicon Mac, and 2.5 GB for an Intel Mac. Some Macs may require larger downloads, though, with some in excess of 10 GB.</p> <p>Tahoe 26.2 introduces Edge Light to light your face during low-light video calls, improves Podcasts with automatic chapter generation, adds filters to the Games library, adds AirDrop codes as an additional verification with unknown contacts, enhances Freeform tables, and more. Fuller release notes are <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/122868" target="_blank">available here</a>, and are a significant improvement in themselves.</p> <p>Security release notes <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/125886" target="_blank">for Tahoe</a> report a total of 46 vulnerabilities addressed. <p>The update from macOS Tahoe 26.1 to 26.2 is fairly large, but appears to be largely routine maintenance, together with some important security updates.</p> <p>At last, Apple has provided more detail of some of the improvements and changes <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/122868" target="_blank">in this summary</a>. These include a new <em>Edge Light</em> feature to light your face during low-light video calls, Podcasts gaining automatic chapter generation, filters added to the Games library, AirDrop codes providing an additional means of verification with unknown contacts, and enhancements to Freeform tables.</p> <p>Security <a href="https://support.apple.com/en-us/125886" target="_blank">release notes</a> report a total of 46 vulnerabilities addressed.
