That said, #TaitoF3 (1992) was an incredible arcade system, some sort of "Enhaced NeoGeo", still 2D and sprite based, but with better zoomable sprites, "Alpha color blending" with lots of opengl-like blending functions,5 tiles planes which implies the pixel rendering pipeline is horrible to emulate in software, and the hability to render a pixel buffer, Which couldn't be done by NeoGeo and CPS machines. Amongst games using this marvel was "Bubble Bobble Symphony", which is enough to make the whole thing valuable.
