#Tangent is a great note-taking tool if you want to make "little but connected" notes. I'm trying to set up a personal knowledge base as enrolled in a new degree after more than a decade of working.

Tangent 0.9.0-alpha.10 is out! This update has keyboard-based section shifting, a new wikilink autocomplete option, and a massive set of fixes for queries!

I use #NextcloudNotes, #Zettlr, #kwrite and a bit #tangent ( and obsidian too, but :blobcatgooglytrash: )

I try also orgmode with #orgzlyrevived and I like it - I tried also #emacs but that too hermetic for me … :blob_sweat:

Mum used my preferred pronouns (when talking to my dad!) the other night, for the first time (it's been years). At first I was confused because it's they/ them pronouns, and she had just deadnamed me prior and I had corrected her (I'm she/they). And there's no way my dad understood it either. He struggles with my gender identity more than my mum I would say, but thinks a LOT less (about it and me in general at all). I'm the vantablack sheep of the family with whom no one can relate (nor tries to - except mum occasionally), for many more reasons than I can state. It would be easier if fate hadn't struck me down with no better recovery options than family, but for now, this is where I am broken down and stranded, trying to carve out some semblance of daily existence.

perso j’utilise #zettlr #obsidian #tangent … mais ma question est une appli dédié pour faire des tableaux de bord et uniquement ça. Un peu dans l’esprit #unix == un outil fait une seule chose bien.

@taylorhadden hi, Taylor! Any chance of getting a printing feature in #tangent note app in the future? I use Zettlr but this is too complicated for me to set up, and typora is also not so super.

I've had a massive headache all day. I couldn't sleep last night, and also couldn't sleep when I tried to take a power nap this afternoon. Headache seems immune to pain killers.

I just took a break from trying to expand on a research idea, and checked my phone to see a Patreon notification.

Turns out Mother just dropped a 70-minute Tangent!

I guess that's my sign to close my laptop, get ready for bed, and watch her tangent until I hopefully feel tired enough to fall asleep.
