We had the chance to explore an inspiring learning environment where education is truly student-centered and based on topic-based learning. The school space is spectacular: large, soundproof general classrooms with sliding walls, and a wide range of special rooms, including a kitchen, sewing workshop, gym, music room, auditorium, library...

Tartu universitātes vēstures muzejā - studentu telpu miniatūras un špikeru žakete.
Tartu mākslas muzejā - Terje Ojaver izstāde un kā ražo metāla galda piederumus.
Igaunijas nacionālajā muzejā - eklektiskā kolekcija, info stendi (pieliec biļeti, nomainās valoda uz latviešu) un daudz sarkanās krāsas tautas tērpos.
Lieldienu brīvdienās es (un pēc balsīm spriežot - vēl daudzi latvieši) biju #Tartu. Interesantas ēkas, daudz pieminekļu, botāniskais dārzs. Redzēju lietas.
Greetings from Tartu, Estonia! It's a lovely little university town and definitely worth a visit. These pictures are from the Estonian National Museum, which is enormous. It was built on top of a former Soviet airport. Today, it has an extensive exhibition of Finno-Ugric cultures and some of the more recent history of Estonia. The latter exhibition was not my favorite, but if you're in Tartu, you should come and check it out yourself.
It's also fun to listen to Estonian, it's our relative language and I can understand some of it. Estonia is one of the very few places in the world where people understand Finnish!
