I'm not able to post as much as I'd like, but the end of my busy period is in sight. I might need to rest for a while and I'll start catching up with all the beautiful people I've met here.
In the meantime, here's a rhododendron flower that I saw on my weekend walk.
Silent reflections in a Tasmanian forest creek, crossed by an ancient log bridge.

I guess it isn't as bad as Brexit or electing an orange fascist dictator, but still a Tasmanian own goal.

Not the most extraordinary photo of a welcome swallow but well up there with the most extraordinary thing I have seen a bird do.
He flew into the window with a (not too severe) thud then scuttled about a bit against the glass.
Then he simply stopped, perched on the glass (which not only had nothing to hold on to, but had recently been polished). He was there for more than a minute before my movement trying to take photos frightened him off.
