@bikolinux Dieses Mitfiebern hat was. Ich kann mir vorstellen, wie Robin Gemperle jetzt wie Christoph Strasser vor ihm sein Rad durch die steilen Straßen hochschieben muss. Und dann die letzte Abfahrt, die wir vielleicht sogar live in der Webcam verfolgen können.

Robin Gemperle #TCRNo9cap3 kann wahrscheinlich die Seeluft von #Thessaloniki schon riechen. Nur noch wenige Kilometer, dann wird er als zweiter die #TCRNo9 beenden.
Ebenfalls bereits auf dem Schlussparcours befindet sich Anatole Naimi #TCRNo9cap232. Er hat noch gute 100 km zu absolvieren.
Dahinter liegt Tim De Witte #TCRNo9cap24. Er hat den letzten Pflicht Abschnitt noch nicht erreicht.

Wenn Robin #Gemperle ähnlich schnell radelt wie Christoph #Strasser, ist er irgendwann heute Abend so zwischen 21 Uhr und 22:30 in Thessaloniki. Ich weiß ja auch nicht warum, aber diese Transcontinental-Rennen gehen mir Jahr für Jahr krass unter die Haut.

Jetzt wäre ich echt gern in Thessaloniki und würde am Straßenrand stehend Christoph Strassers Zieleinfahrt beobachten und mich mit ihm mitfreuen, dass er diese lange Strecke – fast 4000 km – endlich geschafft hat. In 8 Tagen und ein paar Stunden. Und dann würde ich auf Robin Gemperle warten und mich auch mit ihm freuen und allen, die danach eintreffen. Heldinnen und Helden.

Ich habe mir gerade auf Insta die Stories von Christoph Strasser und Robin Gemperle, den beiden Leadern des diesjährigen #Transcontinental-Race, angeschaut.
Beide sehr sympathisch.
Robin, der sogar Zeit und einen Blick für Tiere hat. Einen Hund filmt und eine Schildkröte von der Straße rettet.
Da geht mir das Herz auf.

A gap of just under 3 hours between Christoph #TCRNo9Cap1 and Robin #TCRNo9Cap3 at CP4! #TCRNo9

Exciting developments overnight in #TCRNo9!

Riders must ride the parcours but can choose their route in between.

Between 4A and 4B, leader Christoph Strasser #TCRNo9Cap1 chose the long road looping around, taking 5h40m from the end of 4A and the start of 4B (18:51-00:31).

Meanwhile, chaser Robin Gemperle #TCRNo9Cap3 continued offroad over the mountain, taking 4h58m (at night! 23:33-4:31).

The time gap was four hours at the start of 4B, but Robin has since narrowed it down to three hours...

What looks like a minimal gap right now between the leading riders Christoph #TCRNo9Cap1 and Robin #TCRNo9Cap3 is not what it seems.

Christoph already passed CP4 and finished the last section of Parcours 4 and is leaving the scene … while Robin still needs to get his CP4 stamp and deal with Parcours 4C. Doesn’t look like both guys got much rest overnight 😥

Und wieder ein neuer Tag im #tcrno9 mit dem Rennbericht zu Tag 5! Mal schauen wie die Parcours-Kette 4a/b/c das Classement durcheinander wirbelt. Spannend wäre es ja schon, wenn #gemperle #tcrno9cap3 seine #Gravel Stärke nutzen und nochmal aufholen könnte.

Da schläft man einfach mal 8 Stunden und schon sieht das #tcrno9 ganz anders aus. #tcrno9cap1 & #tcrno9cap3 haben die Plätze im Leaderboard getauscht und sind fast durch Parcours 2 durch. Kopf-an-Kopf-Rennen pur!
Das Feld sieht dafür mittlerweile aus wie eine Perlenkette mit Getümmel an Parcours 1 und dem Aufstieg zum #Stelvio.

#Srasser (#tcrno9cap1) and #Gemperle (#tcrno9cap3) just passed Checkpoint 2 this morning and are now on pacours 2 of the #Transcontinental.

But it seems, that there is an issue with the segment time on the leaderboard. It didn't take them only 7 hours something for the track between CP1 & CP2.

EDIT: The segment time is now correctly displayed.
