I've now heard from some folks how the Xtians are justifying there being no Rapture on Tuesday.
It was only a test of the Emergency Rapture Broadcasting System (TM). God was pulling their legs to make sure they were ready for the actual event. No word on when that's going to be.
This is illustrative of why you cannot talk sense into these people. Their cognitive dissonance and mental contortions will always mobius around to their whackadoodle baseline and there is no sense to be found.
They're a lost cause and we really need to take their religious mania seriously as the threat it is to all life on the planet, especially people that don't hold stock in their invisible friend.
Note to US Christian Nationalists: Maybe the Rapture *did* happen a few days ago. But hate-filled, white-supremacists who are gleeful at the sight of poor, vulnerable people being rounded up by masked agents of the state simply aren't worthy of a place in heaven.
