Gonna be trying out some creative merchandising at The Game Expo ( Melbourne ) next month. Offering a discount that'll even make some merch free for folks who play the demo and leave feedback. This poster explains how it all works.

Maybe a little ambitious to sell t-shirts for a game that hasn't released yet, but 1) the design isn't too closely tied to the game, so it stands on its own feet and 2) it's already been selling pretty well.

"Buying merch supports... Future Ghost!"

Graphic t-shirt advertised for "$25 with bonus free mini-comic & stickers or figurine".
A ghostly figure of a man with horns and an incredulous look on his face converses in thought bubbles with a middle-aged man with a concerned look on his face and black-and-white two-tone hair:
"$25 for the set, huh? How much is it if I buy just a t-shirt without the 'free' extras?"
"Still $25. But you can get a discount!" (see below)
"Well... alright, then."

A mini-comic & stickers set or figure are advertised for "$5 each".
A young woman with short black hair and glasses converses with the middle-aged man.
"So that's how the 'free bonus' works... $5 each if bought separately, or one for free if you buy a t-shirt!"
"And $5 off one item if you play the demo and fill in the feedback form!"
"...making it $20 for a t-shirt bundle, or one of these for free?"
"Exactly!"
