The coming four days are *free* for a lot of people in Southern Germany. So when I came home from work this afternoon, I caught up on #sleep for some 90 minutes. That‘s what off-days are made for. I loved THE MEG 2: THE TRENCH (2023). It had me thinking about these action figures. I also loved that a single giant shark wasn't the only threat that our heroes had to face.

I'm watching The Meg 2: The Trench for the first time, and I feel actively stupider as I watch. Also, having rewatched Underwater earlier, I'm reasonably convinced a few scenes were lifted directly from that film.

There's so much implausible action that it all becomes background noise. It's like a Jason Statham screensaver.
