All #research has a value but I struggle with this #study right now. Was #publicmoney used to #fund this? I could understand #therapydogs being taught #communication #tech but #pet #parrots? #Medicalresearch has to fight so hard to get #funded hence all the #charities set up to boost it. #International focus on keeping #birds in the #wild would be better for them

Near the centre is a white parrot looking at a digital screen. The screen has a blue surround and handle. The parrots back is to us. It is stood on a perch on the left with its feathers extending down to the right. At the top of the page there's a lime-green perch. Underneath the screen there 's a peach coloured perch. There's purple tape around some of a branch at the bottom. This extends to the right as the parrot's perch. This is part of an extensive study into parrot ethical-enrichment for pets and birds in zoos.
