Mes de prueba de #Qobuz en marcha, si todo va como debería migraré desde #Tidal. La primera impresión es bastante buena (se nota mucha audiofilia en la plataforma) pero el catálogo cojea un poco con algunas de las cosas más rarunas que tenía en las listas.

Inmiddels heb ik ook #Spotify definitief verlaten om diverse redenen (van uitbuiten van artiesten tot medeplichtigheid aan #Genocide). De overstap naar #Tidal ging soepel en gebruik ik nu al een tijd.

Nu is het zo dat sommige muziek die ik luister enkel op fysieke geluidsdragers staat (ja, vinyl heb ik, maar niet voor de sier), of geript in mp3-formaat.

Maw: ik ben nu mp3tjes op mijn #Fairphone6 aan het zetten en waan me eventjes in 2010.

I'm going to give #Qobuz a try as an alternative to #Tidal so there's one less subscription going to a US company. The last.fm integration seems to be working and all my music seems to be there. Wish the app icon on iOS was a bit prettier since it's going on my task bar...

Von Google lösen läuft noch so lala. Gestern hat mich #organicmaps hängen lassen, also musste ich #googlemaps kurzfristig wieder einschalten. Seit heute wird #osmand getestet. Von #spotify war ich erst zu #tidal gewechselt, aber durch das #goeuropean Plugin bei Firefox (hier: https://www.goeuropean.org/browser-extension) bin ich über #qobuz gestolpert. Dank #songshift gar kein Problem, das mal einen Monat zu checken.
Bei #Gmail dürften mich seit vorgestern keine Mails mehr erreichen, da war ich gründlicher als der Nachsendeservice der Post. Zum Wochenendeabschluss.. 1/2

Wieso ist der Algorithmus von Tidal so dermaßen schlecht? Auch nach mehreren Wochen Nutzung folgt nie ein Lied, das für mich zum vorherigen passt und mir gefällt. 😵‍💫🫣

Nevertheless, if you want to experiment with cool, gossipy, and completely decentralized tools, have a look into #Soulseek! I suggest to use Nicotine Plus to access it.

I'm hooked on the DailyQ which are basically daily recommendations, and they also have WeeklyQ too

It feels like the similar music recommendations are much better than #Tidal

I felt like on #Tidal I was stuck in an echo chamber of what I searched for

I can't compare to #Spotify as I haven't used them since 2019

I recently switched from #spotify to #tidal (norwegian-american), figuring it was a slightly better alternative, but I'll make sure to check out #qobuz.

(#bandcamp is probably worth a mention. Still American, but I hear the musicians themselves control how their music & merch is sold there)
