Dans cette nouvelle séquence, nous allons composer un graphique avec une courbe qui va dépendre d'une expression mathématique conditionnelle où il faut tester si x=0 ou pas, dans un dénominateur. Directement dans les commandes PGHFMath , nous allons exploiter un opérateur ternaire classique pour effectuer ces tests.

Dans cette nouvelle séquence, nous allons composer un graphique avec une famille de courbes paramétrée selon une expression mathématique. Nous allons déclarer l'expression mathématique dans le préambule et exploiter une boucle pour gérer l'affichage des courbes. Nous allons utiliser des commandes PGF natives pour plus de robustesse et plus de stabilité dans le code.

Dans cette nouvelle séquence, nous allons apprendre à positionner des nœuds de manière relative avec la bibliothèque TikZ positioning. Cela permet d'avoir un positionnement simple et efficace. Les nœuds pourront utiliser une distance globale fixée dans chaque environnement tikzpicture, ou des distances spécifiques pour chaque nœud. Le positionnement se fait avec des mots-clés au niveau des nœuds.

At the risk of stretching the definition of the #Mathober day 1 prompt ‘Link’, I offer an image based on a geometrical mosaic of intertwining loops from the Hall of the Two Sisters in the #Alhambra, redrawn to be mathematically precise.

(I drew the image as a PDF using #TikZ code that re-used loops of the same shape by applying appropriate translations and rotations.)

An image comprising numerous interlinked loops of several colours, based on a mosaic in the Alhambra. Each loop comprises segments that are either horizontal, vertical, or diagonal at a 45 degree angle. Many loops have reflectional or rotational symmetry, and many of the loops are translationally symmetric to one another.

LaTeX, PGFPlots : connaître les différences des commandes addplot et addplot+

Here I tend to read a lot of negative comments about #LLMs, but does anyone share my experience? I use them as an aid to mostly write #rstats and #LaTeX #tikz code faster or recently to clean up a very messy #emacs configuration file. They may hallucinate and I always need to double check the output, but I find #LLMs extremely useful. The ecological footprint is a discussion for another day.
