East Sussex, England, a home-made sign ‘Toads at Night’. No panoramic views just a narrow country road flanked by flood plain. The sign was positioned just before the road entered a wood. A place of magical & mysterious energies where what seemed to be the sound of vibrating colour connected in a strange simultaneous anchoring and dislocation. The texture of the statement ‘Toads at Night’ seemed to hold the essence of all I felt about this place.
