To me Toad the Wet Sprocket is one of those cool 1990s alternative rock bands and know them for their major hits like “All I Want” and “Fall Down”.
It was only in the last few years that I got to listen to some of their non-singles and “Windmills” from their 1994 album Dulcinea is one that really stood out to me with its laid-back melancholic vibe.

I found this yesterday at the record store. Nice artwork, #janglepop, chrome tape, 2 quid: I took it. It's only when I got home that I found out this is a collector's item worth at least 30 euros in bad state. This was a self-published version from before the band got signed! I will definitely treasure it. Sound quality is absolutely great too!
Toad the Wet Sprocket last night in Monterey. First time seeing them and was pretty impressed. Their sound/mix was probably the best/tightest I've heard in that venue (Golden State Theatre). In addition to their hits, they played a great cover of REM's 'Driver 8'. Here is 'Fall Down' near the end of their set. #toadthewetsprocket #livemusic #monterey
