Does #transmasc mean "I'm trans and I'm masculine", or "I'm trans and AFAB"?
I've seen it used both ways by different people.
In other words; if there's a masculine-but-trans AMAB person, are they considered transmasculine?
If so, how far does that go? Does that only include AMAB enbies who present similar to men, or also binary butch trans women? The latter doesn't seem right from what I've seen people use the word like.

Accidentally made myself look evil in that last doodle but at least the pose is cool! I wanted to try those talon hands w/ winged forearms again

You see “male socialized” a lot and trans femmes countering that saying they weren’t. Most people don’t talk about trans mascs and men and being “female socialized.” And the thing is, I think there is something to that or maybe I’m missing the point. Well were raised in a misogynistic world and as females. We were taught certain behaviors were acceptable or not. We had to protect ourselves against predatory men. Taught ways to talk. Even though I pushed against much of that, I was still female presenting in a misogynistic world and that has lasting effects.
I think about this whenever I see something where trans femmes are railing against being male socialized. I get where they are coming from, for sure. However, I do see trans mascs and men being affected by being socialized as females and that shouldn’t be ignored.
Not sure if that’s just a me thing or if other trans mascs feel the same way.
