quite pleased that #triangleTootParty is self-sustaining since 2022. the instance gets a line in my budget, and all money that comes in goes directly into that envelope. i only use that money for server costs, domain renewals, and (for the first time this year) food for our meetups.

Today I went to my first rehearsal of the Triangle Pride Choir! I used to sing in choir a lot as a kid, did musical theatre in high school. I had (had! past tense! #TransJoy) a lot of dysphoria around my singing voice, and as that's gone away I've wanted to go back to singing publicly. And lo! I'm singing! With other people!
