Four issue 1s that didn’t pan out for similar reasons. #Voyagis, #TheForged and #Triskele definitely have an appeal with a wide audience, I just failed to connect with world and characters presented unfortunately. All three have EXCELLENT artistic talent on them as well! #TheSildCosmos was a bit different, the art, while interesting, was sparse, and the plot was inconsistent in pacing and information, can’t recommend it. (Or try reading all the issues at once)

At first this #messenger seems simple but is much more complex when the details are examined a bit more closely.

The #dragonfly is a symbol of transformation or renewal and that it is perched on the #triskele tells me that this symbolizes a transformation of spirituality.

The red #roses are well known to #symbolize love and I feel this will be a pretty #literal #interpretation here.

The couple are what intrigue me the most.

Good evening. This piece of a hare found its way to Australia. Like many others, I'm fascinated by hares. They have a longstanding place in folklore traditions and are often associated with the moon, feminine attributes, the Triple Goddess and magick and prophecy. They are also associated with fertility and rebirth.

Good morning. I thought I would share a WIP today of three hares. The trinity goes way back to the Ancient Celts and can be found in the ancient symbolism, along with many references to the Triple Goddess - the Maid, the Mother and Crone. The Celts had a strong and enduring relationship with hares, believing them to be gifted with prophecy and shapeshifting abilities.

Sometimes I design fabrics on Spoonflower; I enjoy the challenge of making a repeating design. So far, this one is my most successful: someone wallpapered a room in a version of it.

The morning glories swirl in a triskele or triskelion, an ancient spiral design. I love spirals, both in Celtic (and earlier) art and as found in nature. I'm learning that a lot of art I respond to has a strong underlying geometric structure, and am trying to incorporate that more into my own work.
