A cool (I think) feature of the TTRPG system I'm writing to go along with my Common Accord universe is Action Chaining. Action Chaining shows up in a variety of Fast Action contexts, like a riposte after a great parry, or a chain of grappling & submission moves:

I just backed Slay to Win by @NerdBurgerCraig on Kickstarter. It looks like a pretty fun, fast-pace, RPG-lite card game. Check it out if you’re into table-top games and RPGs.

Some of the mechanics remind me a little of Flux, which I love; that is, the cards tell you the rules, and the rules can change/stack, depending on the cards in play.

Having played the TFT boxed labyrinth *Death Test* I'm very tempted to say that Steve Jackson isn't a very good scenario designer. Interesting classic, but when there are no other options than fighting you just shut it down without even a dice roll, you should have done better.

Also, starting all enemies in the centre of the room with just so much movement that they if they win initiative will be able to block you from maneuvering, that's just lazy and boring.

I'm super excited to get to run #ADnD2e again, even if it's just a backup game for our #Pathfinder group.

I'm hoping that everyone is interested enough in that game that I can run some classic modules when we finish the #RiseOfTheRunelords campaign.

It'll be nice to finally get to run #AlQadim. I've had the boxed set and campaign book for a while now, and I haven't gotten to use it. Looking forward to some tomb raiding, djin wishing, carpet flying adventures!

I think I'll make a few quality of life improvements to the old system and work out ascending instead of descending AC to make it easier on the players though.
