Mir geht das jedenfalls ziemlich auf die Eier, nie zu wissen, ob sich doch noch wer erbarmt, das Umfragen Ergebnis hier hin zu kopieren....

Zumal das dann auch oft noch zu spät stattfindet, daß man sich die Folge nicht mehr runterladen kann (dauert ja mitunter schon mal ~10 Stunden)

Twitter ist tot. Es gibt nur noch die Staatspropaganda Plattform X.

Selbst wenn man da nur in seiner abgeschotteten Bubble rumgammelt, gibt man X mehr Relevanz.

@peter I was stunned when I wentto X, just trying to follow what was going on with the whole Crowdstrike fiasco on Friday, and the entire thread was polluted with malware links that led to porn sites.

It was overwhelming. As much as I tried blocking and deleting them, there was just an absolute tidal wave of scum. #twitterisdead

ESPN did a bold move today and not posted anything from insane college football Saturday yesterday on X. And instead focused on other social like Threads, Instagram or other.

And so far, gotten just about same amount of engagement there also.

You don’t need a Twitter/X account to maintain your brand as athlete/student athlete. You can do it elsewhere.

Ask yourself: do you want your brand to be associated with antisemite?

Athletes, and especially student athletes in college (particularly those with NIL), here’s an advice.

Deactivate X or Twitter account now. Keeping that account is going to ruin your reputation in long run. Do what other advertisers did, (like Apple or Disney or IBM) and leave the site.

There’s other social like Instagram, or Threads or YouTube where you can show your social presence.
