Как обновить n8n на своем сервере(Docker)

Послезавтра, 15 декабря, выходит n8n 2.0. Обновляется он, кстати, достаточно часто. В этом материале я описал безопасный способ обновления при использовании Docker с сохранением данных. Расскажу в том числе как обновится не только на стабильную версию, но и на beta/preview(если вдруг есть желание посмотреть, что станет доступно в ближайших обновлениях). Инструкция актуальна для n8n, развернутого через docker. Бежим обновляться!

В этой инструкции расскажу как поднять на своем VPS opensource-платформу для автоматизации рабочих процессов N8N и необходимые для ее функционирования сопутствующие сервисы. Я первый раз настраивал n8n по инструкции с официального сайта, но мне не понравилось, что в конфигурации по дефолту используется traefik - по мне так он избыточен для большинства установок N8N и в качестве обратного прокси лучше подходит Nginx Proxy Manager.

Im Grunde sind sie primär ja eine der Firmen, die vor allem auf den Servermarkt und Unternehmensmarkt abzielen mit ihren Abos. Man kann sich zB für #UbuntuServer als Basis entscheiden und kriegt dafür eher bezahlten Support als für Debian. Weil Debian eben keine Pro-Abos anbietet. Aber freie Desktops ist was anderes. It is *extremely* scary to me that #Ubuntu Server defaults to OVERRIDE your /etc/ssh/sshd_config password auth option to force it on.

You see, Ubuntu ships a file called /etc/ssh/sshd_config.d/50-cloud-init.conf with "PasswordAuthentication yes". This option takes precedence over anything you set in sshd_config. So it's stupidly easy to accidentally create an Ubuntu VM with extremely weak security (just a weak password that you don't expect to allow logins via). #UbuntuServer #sysadmin #linux

Tiny little foot-gun I've just discovered: Ubuntu 24.04 got rid of the sshd alias for ssh.service. Not a huge deal, but did break a couple very old scripts. I wish they would have left that in.
Can be re-introduced fairly easily:

cd /lib/systemd/system
sudo ln -s ssh.service sshd.service
sudo systemctl daemon-reload

Just like that, your old habits can continue to not die ;)

Lo que me acaba de pasar XD
Resulta que tengo un ordenador viejito con ubuntu server instalado y accedo por SSH.

Pues bien hoy no conectaba, y venga a intentarlo y he pensado bueno será problema de Linux voy a ver si en w11 funciona ya que tengo dual boot.

Tampoco : connection refused...

Hasta que me he metido en el router y había dado el DHCP la MISMA IP que tengo configurado en Ubuntu server como IP estática... a otro PC de mi red local :nkoOwO: (no puede haber 2 ordenadores con misma IP dentro de una misma red)
