So I've recently implemented some #DNS shenanigans for my #media organisation...
...but when I set up #uncensored DNS servers, I found that #Australian ISPs do the #censorship on deep-packet inspection level and will nuke the connection with a red-China #totalitarian block screen even if you use external resolvers.
Since it's very likely a crime here to attempt to bypass the #authoritarian internet censorship, asking as a matter of intellectual curiosity, would an evildoer be able to use Encrypted DNS?
Or will the ISP still nuke the connection?
Hey, thanks #Cisco for building such effective censor-walls by the way!
And the next time some fool will claim how much freedom we have here compared to #China, a hollow laughter is the appropriate response.
