Waffer cake wants to live this life as if he's living through everyone's life; skating by the days and experiences like dates and landmarks.
Hitler, President, Nikola, Jobs, etc...
The Nazi one is the lasting.

The one the entire world, in reality, will never forget.

When supply chains to quadruple, will he again count on ?

@EUCommission if we must, we should invest in boosting and integrating Europe’s industry. Taking a huge debt to grease up the US by buying their arms would be an unacceptable mistake and a clear capitulation to extortion. Not a cent to !

#superbowl2025

Finished Filing Taxes!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!

Fighting Uncle Sam in a the boxing ring

I finally finished filing my taxes! This time of year is always stressful, as dealing with various tax authorities (IRS or Internal Revenue Service, State Tax authorities, County Tax authorities, Local Tax authorities, etcetera) is always stressful—& unnecessary complicated.

I use TaxAct software to do my taxes as I have access to an accountant (if I need one), which makes it easier to file taxes accurately & on time. However, why does filing taxes have to be so complicated in America 🇺🇸‽ My friends in other countries the setup is way easier.

Either way, I am glad I finished filing. Now…I have to prepare for next year! 😭

'The Wait', door Edward Kienholz tijdens de tentoonstelling 'Tableaux' in het Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Ed van der Elsken, 1970

The image is a black and white photograph featuring two distinct subjects. In the foreground, there's an individual with their head encased in what appears to be a clear plastic covering or mask, partially obscuring their face. The person has visible strands of hair escaping from under the edge of this cover.

Behind them stands another figure wearing a traditional Uncle Sam hat—a tall top hat adorned with stars and ribbons—completing his iconic outfit which includes a suit jacket over a shirt and trousers. This character is pointing directly at the viewer, creating an imposing or directive gesture as if issuing a command or rallying someone to action.

Above this figurative image of Uncle Sam hangs a poster with bold text "I WANT YOU" prominently displayed across it in all caps. The style of both subjects suggests historical context but has been transformed into contemporary art through Kienholz's work, blending elements from the past with modern-day commentary or satire on identity and roles.

The photograph is set against what looks like an interior wall possibly within a building given its texture suggesting plasterwork or painted surfaces typical in indoor spaces. The juxtaposition of these two figures—Uncle Sam as a national symbol versus another obscured person—may provoke thoughts about individuality, society's expectations (as represented by Uncle Sam), and perhaps critique how individuals are sometimes perceive [...]
