#independent #media and therefore shouldn’t be treated as an isolated issue.

Finally, let’s not forget about the
#EuropeanUnion’s “
#DigitalServicesAct “! I consider this one to be even worse and scarier than the
#OSB due to its much wider impact and support.
People in the
#EU seem to understand and care even less than in the
#UnitedKingdom, and in any case less than in the
#UnitedStates.
#Europe, with few exceptions, is completely lacking a sense for civil rights and liberties;
#FreedomOfInformation being one of the unavoidable catch-words to come up in any
#freedom related discussion.
