My latest painted creation on an oyster shell. I am happy with how it turned out. It now just needs a coat of varnish once it cures a bit. Patience is not one of my virtues.

Hidden treasures under water. I painted this a while ago in #acrylic.
For the #underwater look, all brush strokes must be parallel to the small waves. This made painting the stones more difficult than I thought, especially the borders.

Luis Arencibia, a native of Telde, Gran Canaria, was the son of muralist José Arencibia Gil. Beyond his artistic legacy, Arencibia was deeply involved in Spain’s political transformation during the 1970s, contributing to the opposition against the dictatorship. His life and work reflect a blend of artistic genius and a commitment to social change.
