it's a sort of heavily aged wooden cylinder. from the green patina, it looks like it might have been covered with copper or brass in the past. there are vertical slots in the upper half. underneath is one of the old-fashioned pull-doorbells you still see around Edinburgh, although I've never known them to work.

This architectural shot highlights the contrast between traditional terracotta roofs and the modern glass canopy. The vintage-toned edit adds character, while the neon green pharmacy sign provides a contemporary touch amidst the rustic charm.
