A federal jury in Fort Worth, Texas agreed on Friday to convict eight people of domestic terrorism because they wore all black to a protest outside Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Prairieland Detention Facility in Alvarado, Texas on July 4, 2025, at which one of the protesters shot and wounded a police officer. Oh crud. My garbage service is going to go up because of the dynamic fuel surcharge... Before the war, the fuel surcharge was an additional 19.2% fee of our monthly service charge. It's now at 32.1%, based on current diesel prices, with no price ceiling in sight.

So, if our bill was $100, the pre-war surcharge was an extra $19.20. It's now $32.10. They calculate it monthly.
