Wish list item: A world clock that doesn't force UTC to 12 hour time if local time is also set to 12 hour. I know this is an American thing- if I could learn to think of local time in 24 hours, this wouldn't be an issue. But I feel that software should be a little more flexible than it is.
Screenshots for #iOS and #GNOME shown. I don't have access to recent #Android, but it was like iOS and GNOME last I checked.
Bottom line: #UTC should never be expressed in 12 hour time (AM/PM), IMHO.

Hmm, warum so umständlich? Jeder nimmt wieder seine "#Normalzeit", WEZ MEZ oder OEZ, für den internationalen Warenverkehr wird ganz stur #UTC verwendet. Funktioniert im #Amateurfunk seit vielen Jahren einwandfrei, auch über deutlich mehr #Zeitzonen hinweg.
@devnull @Natasha_Jay It certainly plays havoc with the logfiles for machines that have heavy logs like DCS with process actions and alarms. Logs are usually dumped in hourly files with names like :alarms202503300200.txt, and suddenly you lose that file because at 3 am it becomes 2 am again. UTC + Timezone is the answer. In Australia I set the time to Queensland, they don't have daylight saving!.
Sedan mina klockor, förutom spisklockan, ställer om sig själva en timme fram/tillbaka två gånger om året - så är det bara tjafset i [sociala] medier som påminner mig att det fortfarande händer. Själv sover jag ju oftast igenom tidpunkten.
På de flesta av mina datorer så är det dessutom #UTC som gäller, så där justeras bara tiden för inloggad användares inspirera tidzon. En annan trevligheten för oss som kör #Linux.

I've just checked and the trilithons and lintels at #Stonehenge have been successfully set to British Summer Time (UTC+1).
I really do wonder if this is a tradition we could now abandon. Such a time consuming exercise twice every year to change them 🫤
Perhaps we should abandon BST and just stick to GMT (UTC+0) and honor our four fathers and five mothers some other way? 🤔🤷♂️
Yo también era "team horario de verano" hasta hace no mucho. Pero me he dado cuenta de varias cosas:
• «Nuestra relación con la luz del sol depende del uso horario y no del huso horario». Esto se lo leí a un divulgador hace un tiempo. En resumen: No importa lo que marque el reloj, lo que importa es lo que hacemos en esa hora; solo hay que ver cómo, con el mismo horario que Francia, Alemania o Países Bajos, no usamos nuestro tiempo de la misma manera que estos países.
• Empiezo a valorar mucho más tener más luz solar por las mañanas que por las tardes. "¿Qué más te da tener luz para trabajar, mejor tenerla para el ocio, cuando salgas del trabajo?" es un buen argumento a favor del horario de verano. Sin embargo, yo necesito luz solar para despertarme mejor, no dejamos de ser animales diurnos, por mucho que intentemos negarlo. Salir de casa de noche para ir a trabajar es muy triste.
• Si finalmente se siguiera haciendo el cambio de hora, votaría por volver a lo que se hacía antes de 1996. He leído que en España, hasta ese año, el horario de invierno entraba en vigor a partir del último fin de semana de septiembre, no de octubre, como se hace ahora. Ese cambio actualmente llega tarde porque, siendo en España de 7:00 a 8:30 las horas habituales de entrar al trabajo, la ventaja que sacamos dura tres semanas, tras las cuales volvemos a entrar al trabajo de noche. Un sinsentido.
• Conclusión: Que se terminen los cambios de hora, nos quedamos con el de "invierno" para todo el año y cambiamos nuestros "usos" horarios si hace falta para ajustarnos al cambio. Ejemplo: Entrar antes al trabajo, comer antes, cenar antes...

Mitt på dagen, d.v.s. ungefär kl. 12, står solen som högst på himlen - den står i zenit.
Men inte när det är "sommartid".
Då händer det först vid 13-tiden.
Natten mellan lö 29/3 och sö 30/3 så hoppade klockan från 02:00 direkt till 03:00. (Solen gjorde ingenting.)
... och det är ju inte som att jag får börja jobbet en timme senare bara för att det är sommartid, så det kommer att vara mörkt igen imorgon bitti när jag går till jobbet. 😒

Heute nacht ist #zeitumstellung, und wer schlau ist, stellt die Uhr nicht eine Stunde vor, sondern eine Stunde zurück, dann ist man nämlich in #UTC, Weltzeit, Zulu-Zeit und braucht die Uhr nie wieder umstellen, weil UTC keine sinnlose und ungesunde Sommerzeit kennt.

Es wurde #LibreWolf. Mobil #Vanadium auf #GrapheneOS.
Ist auch vermutlich eine gute Wahl aus #privacy & #security-Perspektive.
Allerdings gibt's bei LibreWolf das Problem, dass fast alle Zeitangaben nur noch in #UTC dargestellt werden. Besonders lästig bei Chats, Version Control Systems, Kalender, ... im Browser. Könnte man auch disablen aber offenbar nur als größeres Paket von an sich sinnvollen Anti-Tracking-Maßnahmen.
Diverse Workarounds haben bei mir bislang nicht funktioniert.
Meine Lösung aktuell: für diese Seiten, wo mir Zeitangaben wichtig sind, habe ich #Firefox (mit diversen Privacy-add-ons).
Das Wichtigste ist ohnehin in jedem #Browser #NoScript.
