It is a 🎧 DJ and 🎨 arts-focused event called DENIZEN and it will be held at my dear friend Mike’s amazing @catalystcoffee505. • I’ve been working on this concept for a while, partly because I am a DJ myself and I’ve been wanting to do something beyond the typical club environment that I’ve done in the past for many years. But I’ve also wanted to bring together friends and artists in an interactive and creative (and safe) space. Catalyst is the perfect locale that fits all these bills and I’m so looking forward to the debut of this, and I hope you will be there! • The plan is for this to be a monthly/recurring event. The event is free, will have me as a DJ a blend of dub, minimal, and ambient techno, and also will host several artists and vendors. And we’ll see how this evolves! • If you haven’t been, Catalyst is on the west side of #abq just across the river at Montaño and Coors, and Denizen will go from 7pm to 11pm on Thursday May 29th. Unless we also hate #NAT and expect every device to have a unique static #IP (which is a #privacy nightmare at best that "#PrivacyExtensions" barely fixed.)
I guess using a #128bit address space was inspired by #ZFS doing the same before, as the folks who designed both wanted to design a solution that clearly will outlive them (way harder than COBOL has outlived Grace Hopper)...
If I was @BNetzA I would've mandated #DualStack and banned #CGNAT (or at least the use of CGNAT in #RFC1918 address spaces) as well as #DualStackLite!
