Small side chapel with marble walls and renaissance religious paintings on the two side walls and ceiling on the opposite wall is a marble tomb framed by small white statues of angels and the Virgin. Above the tomb is a smallish stained glass window with light blue/green floral and architectural designs, and at center a small depiction of the crucifixion.

Standing in the transept of the church, looking up and across into one of the arms, with its vaulted ceiling and mostly plain clear glass windows. The church body has similarly plain windows. In the nave below can be seen the church's large square columns and rows of chairs arranged in several sections around the altar, off camera to the left.

Last month we visited the city of #Gouda in #TheNetherlands and saw the #Sint-JansKerk. It has 72 world famous stained glass windows.

As a side note trees in the Arid Nama Karoo where the Camdaboo park is situated seldom grow above 2.5 m.
