Not too sure what these guys were doing on the roof of the Hydro in Glasgow today, I'm just glad it wasn't me - not just because it's been the hottest day of the year so far, but also because the very thought of it sets off my vertigo!

Good morning tooters & the end of the working week for many. I slept in until 7am & it was 0c with heavy frost on the neighbouring roofs, but not too much in my garden. The birdbath certainly wasn’t frozen surprisingly & no crunchy lawn, strange 🤷🏼♀️. Bright sunshine outside & it should get to 14c.
I’m feeling pretty good this morning, no head spins at all so I think I’m going to say - I’m fixed 😊. I only wish I’d thought to go for the remedial massage earlier, but hindsight is a wonderful thing!
Once I’m showered & dressed it’s too nice not to go out for walk around the river so that’s what I’m going to do. Not much else in the agenda except to make the planned shepherds pie for tonight’s dinner & the freezer.

Good morning tooters. Very close to zero this morning with a big fog 🌫️ blanketing everything, I can just barely see the big eucalyptus tree at the end of my street. Too damp for a frost & it’s going to be cloudy most of the day with a little sun this afternoon - yaay! It should reach about 13c which is fine by me.
My vertigo 😵💫which seemed completely absent after my remedial massage yesterday has not completely gone, damnit - but I have to say I don’t feel quite as vague & off kilter this morning as I have been this last week or so. It’s obviously helped quite a bit, but I’m still getting the occasional spin. Getting there 😊.
I’m going down to my sisters again this morning. My niece from Perth is a tech trouble shooter for big companies around the world. She is going to set my iPad & iPhone up with a different security company than I’ve been using for years as for some reason the auto renewal never went through even though I’ve contacted them twice! The new one will be cheaper as well!

Busy day today. Fabulous 6km walk this morning & the sun even came out for a short while. Grocery shopping on the way home & arrived home just in time to grab a quick lunch & head out again for my massage - which was brilliant. Now I’m not saying I’m fixed, but I haven’t had a head spin or giddy turn since 🤷🏼♀️ - we will see, but how good if that was the fix. Then down to visit my sister for an hour. The plan I made was to come home & make turkey pies for dinner & the freezer. That didn’t happen, soup for my dinner instead. Settling down for the evening. Good morning tooters. This morning when I got up it was an ok 6c, but it’s barely going to reach double figures today, we should get to a max of 11c 🥶. The sky is thick with dense bands of cloud, no blue sky at all.
It took me ages to fall asleep last night which resulted in my sleeping in this morning. My head still isn’t quite right but I had a quick follow up chat with my doctor yesterday & he said it could take a few weeks for the problem to resolve completely, so I just have to deal with it. Nevertheless I made an appointment to have a remedial massage just to check that the muscles are ok around my neck as it’s been a little sore lately & you never know it may help. I’ll love the massage anyway.
Had my car in for service & it needed a few unexpected jobs done on it. She’s an old girl & we old girls do need things dealt with occasionally. It meant my bill was higher than I wanted 😏.
I’ve decided that once I’m dressed, I’m taking myself off for a walk. I wanted to go yesterday but ran out of time & am been feeling the need for the (extra) fresh air.

Kudos to the Venice Film Festival for recognizing Kim Novak as "one of the most beloved icons of an entire era of Hollywood films."
The 92 year old will receive the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement — and a new documentary on her work in Hitchcock's VERTIGO (1958) will premiere at the Festival.
