🇬🇧 I know this is one hell of a late #VGMWednesday post, but since today is Genealogy of the Holy War's anniversary, I thought a tribute to the music from my favorite #FireEmblem would only be appropriate.
I've decided on the Chapter 7 theme from the Arranged #Soundtrack - it's one of my faves from the album, in no small part because it's so atmospheric. It literally screams "desert" in your face! 😄💖

🇩🇪 Ich weiß, dass das ein verdammt später #VGM Wednesday Post ist, aber da heute das Jubiläum von Genealogy of the Holy War ist, dachte ich, eine Hommage an die Musik aus meinem liebsten Fire Emblem-Spiel wäre nur angemessen.

The lyrics in the DoK credits #soundtrack are actually taken from the Shiva Tadav(a), a religious hymn dedicated to Shiva, god of both creation and destruction in Hinduism - an extremely fitting choice, given what's to come in #Homeworld 1. (Source: see comments below the video)

🇩🇪 Und damit kommen wir zu meinem letzten #VGM Wednesday-Beitrag zu Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, und wie könnte man die Sache besser abrunden als mit dem Song, den man am Ende des Spiels hört!
